Lake Kiowa Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Lake Kiowa, Texas.
Lake Kiowa Country Club golf course first opened for play in 1969. The course was designed by Leon Howard
The eighteen hole championship golf course is the main attraction of Lake Kiowa, and provides a rewarding experience for all golfers. This lovely gated community's property owners have privileges to use the course. There are many out-of-bounds stakes bordering the fairways and greens. The fairways are plush. Lake Kiowa or two other ponds come into play on seven holes.
Featuring three sets of tees ranging from 6,605 yards at the championship tees to 5,085 from the forward tees, the course is easy enough for beginners but presents a challenge for more experienced players.
The course is equipped with USGA regulation greens and a completely automatic sprinkler system using lake water. A full-time greens superintendent and grounds keeping crew maintain the course

I have lived at Lake Kiowa since 1994 and we have been through different challenges with the Bent grass greans. The course was closed for 10 months and the greens were changed to bermuda and all the fairways have been changed from the original existing bermuda to the new improved bermuda. The course is in the best condition that it has ever been.
